Spread the joy!
Every year, we set up several drop off donation boxes throughout our 3 buildings in Boucherville, at our plant, warehouse and our administrative offices. We invite members of the PLB family to be generous! We collect toys, clothes, food and other gifts that are then donated to the Centre d’action de Boucherville. Its mission is to promote and develop volunteer and community action. They are able to redistribute the donations received to different stakeholders working in the field.
Once again, the drop off points in our offices were overflowing since employees were so generous! A group of employees also decided to hop in the company’s truck to travel the streets of our region to offer 1st Choice Nutrition & Pronature food crates as gifts to several companies as well as organizations that work with disadvantaged people. Thousands of bags were delivered at Moisson Rive-Sud.
This organization acts as the main food bank in the Montérégie, and plays a role as a springboard to facilitate the achievement of the individual mission of the community organizations that come for provisioning.
In this season of solidarity and festivities, we also want to contribute to the happiness of animals in our community!
